We own an older Whirlpool Electric dryer, LE5800XSN3, that does not stay hot.
I disconnected it from the wall ventilation outlet to the outside then vacuumed the vent and the back interior of the dryer.
Still not staying hot. It does not stay hot when I run it when not connected to the wall vent. I then installed a replacement heater element.
I watch the bottom element glow a nice cherry red then a mechanical sound and the element turns off and may some minutes later turn back on. It doesn't matter if the drum is full of wet clothes or just a test run. Heater Element shuts down.

What should I replace next. I think I have a voltmeter around here someplace.

Thanks
