I have an old Tappan Automatic Pilotless Ignition built in oven with the broiler below the oven. I have a model/Serial # of 12-1063-30/01134-15200234. My problem is that the temperature has started exceeding what we set the temp at, sometimes by as much as 25-50 degrees. I pulled off the temp knob to see if there was an adjustment/calibration type screw behind it, but didn't see anything like that. Any idea how you can calibrate this type of gas oven? Thank you for your help.
