This is a double wall oven (20 years old). Neither oven has correct temp when set at 400 degrees. One registers 360 degrees and the other 420 degrees. Is this something that can be reasonably repaired or should I plan on purchasing a new oven?

Hi.

See if you can find the owners manual. Look under temperature adjustments.
The lower oven temperature can be adjusted at the back of the thermostat's knob.
If the temperature is not fluctuating then you know it's 40*F colder- set it for 40*F more.

Simon.
