I have a Whirlpool rbs305pds17 built-in wall oven that just stopped working, but the strange thing is, it stopped the day after we put in a new microwave above it. The microwave is a counter top model that just sits in the space above the oven and is finished out with a trim kit.It not the first microwave--it's actually the third one. I accused my husband of doing something to the oven when he put the new microwave in, but he says there is only a plug in the back and there is no way that plug would also be the oven supply. Here's a pic of the oven.microwave. It there anything that could have cause the oven to quite, or is it just purely a coincidence.

Hi.

Call the sheriff. Tell them to release your husband.

First switch the oven breaker off/on.If that doesn't help - open the control panel and check if there is 120VAC between the control board contacts P2-1 and P2-3.
If you have the correct voltage and control board has no display - replace the board Part number: 8302994
Part number: 8302994

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Control Panel parts for Whirlpool RBS305PDS17 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Simon.

I gave hubby a reprieve--at least long enough to go to work. LOL! How do you get to the control panel? My son is here as I type and he said he could check it.

Well-it seems when my son went to check the control panel--it decided to come back on. Not sure what to do now.
