We have a twelve year old Maytag Neptune. The water does not turn off duringthe wash cycle, so consequently the machine fills with water and the pump(though it pumps) can't keep up with the water and it will not spin out. Thereis an inordinate amount of water left in the machine, enough to allow the doorto openby itself when the lock disengages. Also, it makes a growling noise. New washer ore can I fixit ?
Thanks

If you have gotten more than 10 years from this model you have essentially won the washer sweepstakes!

Celebrate by buying a new machine, that is your best option.
