Frigidaire - FRS26TS7DB2

Even when it was brand new it never made ice or dispensed water. I chalked it up to not having enough water pressure at the back of the fridge. By the time i got around to checking the guarantee had expired. I paid a guy to come out and fix it and he did nothing.

Ultimately I replaced the ice maker which had no effect on the problem. this actually makes a lot of sense because i was not getting water either, (so how could it just be the ice maker).

I then replaced the triple valve, using part number 241734301, (this is the thing that the water line connects to on the fridge that has the yellow, green, brown, and clear plastic tubes connected to it.

I checked the water pressure, it comes out of hose with enough force to put out a fire on the other side of the kitchen.

neither of these part replacements had any impact on the problem. I have checked all the stupid stuff... yes it is on... etc. i did cycle it on and off... etc.

the water dispenser just drips water when you try to activate it and the ice maker might make a cube every three weeks or so.

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
Check if there is 120 VAC to the main and the dispenser water valve solenoids while the dispenser on the door calls for water and the freezer door is closed. Post the results.

Gene.
