I just purchased a replacement pump for my 4 year old dishwasher and I've dug in far enough to determine the pump bearings were going bad causing lots of noise. Now I'm installing the new pump and I find that the replacement pump has one less wire termination available. I called customer service and they confirmed that I got the right pump but they can't say what do do with the extra wire.
