i have a Whirlpool GBD307PDB09 double oven and I think maybe the control board is messed up. Heres what it does:
We were cooking a cheese cake last night and when it was done we went to turn off the oven and the door was locked and it was going into self clean mode all by itself. The door was locked and there was no way to unlock it so I turned off the breaker. Whew that worked so I got the cake out of there before it totally burned up. I have no idea why it went into self clean mode.
I turned the breakers back on and now when i go to cook something the oven wont turn on and says "door" on the display. Both lights in the ovens are on but the doors are closed and switches seem fine. I have turned on and off the breakers hoping to "reset" the darn thing but that didn't help either. Any ideas what is going on? Do I need a new control panel?
