My dryer recently stopped running for longer than a minute. I checked the vent and did not find a clog. I've tried it in all settings including air (no heat) and it still shuts off in under a minute. It will start right back up, doesn't need to cool down but shuts off in under a minute every time.

What's going on??

Did you mean you just push the push-to-start button right after it stopped or you have to do anything else like open the door or touch the timer?

I do have to open and shut the door. Upon further inspection, it seams that the little switch that senses when the door is shut has cracked. So, if I hold the switch in, the dryer runs fine. Can it be replaced?
