We remodeled our kitchen & have to purchase a new refrigerator to match the appliances. We have a 6 year old GE Profile Arctica. We would like to convert this to a wine refrigerator with a storage temperature of about 54 degrees.

Is this possible? When I try to raise the temperature control above 48 degrees the refrigerator goes off. Will it go back on when it reaches the higher temperature?

The control board in your refrigerator designed to maintain a certain temperature and it can not go higher than that.

Gene.
