I am having problems with my Amana gas dryer, Model No. ALG643RAW.
When button pushed to start it makes this horrible noise. After it gets going, it stays on but will shut off when timer gets down to 20 minutes. Inside of dryer feels very hot. Has to cool off before we can start again with same horrible noise and then shut off when down to 20 minutes. Vents have been completely cleaned and motor has been cleaned and oiled with a few drops of 3-1 oil.

Hi. You need to locate the noise.That could be the motor, the blower wheel, etc. Most likely it's the motor, but you need to know for sure what to replace. The motor Part number: 2200376
