The washer was not spinning and close were left soaking wet at end of cycle. restarted with a load in washer was very noisy took apart found coupler was broken, installed new coupler. Put on spin cycle with trans/motor separate from washer spins but stops with any resistance. removed cover and disassembled transmission, no obvious damage found. Reassembled left cover off can see everything spinning with washer set to spin but can with light pressure grab clutch and it stops spinning and the spin gear stops, also noticed that spin gear is very wobbly looking when spinning. Removed neutral assembly and gears, when looking at it from the side the plate seems to be bent away from the gear and the metal arm on the neutral assembly is not inside the gear. Do you think the plate is bent, do you think a neutral drain kit would resolve this issue?

Hello Soccerbob. Based on the information given ,I would say yes the drain kit would fix it , I would also replace the clutch assembly while you have it torn down, Thank you Part number: AP3018165
