It would take a week or so for the ice to return and light frost is normal. With that being said it frosted up once I have no reason to believe it will not do it again. Unless the door being open/cracked for a long period of time caused the frost it will do it again.

If the heater is ok thermistors are the next thing to check. This page shows how to identify faulty thermistors and how to check them GE Refrigerator Repair Guide There is also a picture to help with a bad defrost thermostat but you will have to test with an ohmmeter to confirm.

Keep an eye on it but i feel like it will do it agian so don't put too much food in it.
