I have an Amana side by side and after moving to a new home the and the movers being very rough with it when we close the fridge door the freezer door to cracks open just enough that you don't notice it until much later and it gets all snowy on the inside. What can I do to fix it?

This is a problem that doesn’t occur on side-by-sides often but you can try a few things. What is happing is the air from the outside of the refrigerator fills the fresh food section. Then when you close the door you force the air into the freezer and the air has nowhere to go so it forces the door open. Usually the door will close itself back when this happens.

There are cams on the bottom of the door that should make the door close itself it this happens. This is a link to the parts you will need if the cams are broken.
Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Closure, door (blk), part number: AP4247867

Also you can lean the refrigerator back by adjusting the front legs up so that the doors have a tendency to swing closed.

Also it will help to store some food (if you are not already) in the freezer door the extra weight will help it close.
