The fill tube for the ice maker keeps freezing up. I thaw it out with a hair dryer until water flows out, and then it fills the tray properly. It usually stays unfrozen for a couple of months. Now, it freezes up within a few days. Would you consider this to be the water inlet valve, or possibily needing to replace the pin-type saddle valve on the water supply? Is there a way to test each? I'm wondering if the water inlet valve is not closing all the way. Could this be from low pressure or is the valve faulty?
Thanks!

Hello.

First check if there is a good water pressure at the drinking fountain. If it is - replace the water inlet valve. If not - check the water supply coming into the refrigerator.
There is a possibility of restriction in the water filter.
