I have a sears series 110 washer that will agitate while spinning and will not spin when loaded. the lid switch went out so I bypassed it by connecting the white and gray wires. any suggestions to solve this problem

it sounds like the clutch lining is bad. It's not that hard to replace and it cost about $30.00. Easy fix. Just make sure that you put the right tension springs back in. (The same color that you pulled out)
