Dryer was checked by repairman at his shop.......everything checked ok, dryer ran fine, heated up, etc
brought it home, plugged it in and it started, seemed it was running faster and louder,,ran for aminute then shut off.

Thought maybe it was getting too many volts...Power company checked the voltage at the meter. Readings were ok.

What else could cause this?

Hard to believe anything would cause it to run faster. As for the noise I would check the blower wheel. They are known to strip out on this model. I would also check the drum rollers too.
