I have a leak coming out the bottom of the tub on my washer. Determined I had to replace the tub and driveshaft assy., but when I took the basket out, it appeared to have liquid in it. It sounds like it's in the balance rings at the top and botton of the basket. Possibly in the floatation chamber, but it doesn't seem like it. Is this liquid normal for proper balance? there is nothing coming out of the drum when I have it sitting on the floor, so I assume the liquid should be in there. Also, can I just replace the bearings and seal on the tub instead of replacing the whole assy? Would be a lot cheaper if I can ID them.
