Hi, I have a GE Profile dishwasher. The keypad is lit but the unit will not turn on. Only 2 buttons work: Heated dry & normal (both are lit). I tried shutting off via circuit breaker. No luck. Situation did not change.
Do i need a control assembly to resolve this issue. Or is there something else I should test first? I tried holding the heated dry button for 5 seconds, no luck with that either.
Does this unit have just a keypad assembly if that is the problem?
I just want to make sure that I will purchase the correct product that will resolve my problem.
Thank you.

I hope this helps you, it seems to have worked for me. I was having the exact same problem. I started by removing power at the circuit breaker. I then removed the screws along the side of the door assembly to separate the escutcheon and door to expose the Module Control ASM unit. I disconnected each plug one at a time to inspect, clean and reconnect each plug. I noticed that one of the plugs had a calcium or soap residue build up not much, which I cleaned as good as I possibly could. I then put the screws back on the door assembly making sure the Escutcheon and door were aligned properly. I then reinstated the power at the circuit breaker and the diswasher was back to normal.
