I have the Jenn-air JES9860BAW and the touchpad quit working so I replaced the touchpad and electric control. This fixed the touchpad. Now the oven operates but very slow to preheat. It has a feature of rapid preheat that always worked great. I noticed that if you just turn the oven to bake you can see and hear the elements heating up but as soon as you activate rapid preheat the fan comes on but the elements go off. This also happens on the Convection setting fan operates but no elements.

Its as though any feature operating the fan inside the oven deactivates the elements. It also "seems" as though even just on regular Bake the oven is slower than it should be to heat (this could not be the case as I have been very spoiled by the "rapid preheat" option). But Just at 350 I ran it for 30 to 40 minutes and wasn't at 350 yet? This is why I replaced the control along with the touchpad? But fixed my touchpad problem but rapid preheat and convect still out?
