:( Dishwasher was working but when the door was opened and closed the machine lost power to the pannel and wont power back up. Have checked power at elect outlet, is good 120 volts have checked handle switch with ohmn meter (open no reading closed meter zeroed out). Am at the point of really don't know, help.

Did you check both switches on the latch.
There should be two of them.
Also when checking did you disconnect at least one side of the switch.
This prevents you from reading an alternate/parallel circuit path.

Since you said you unplugged it I am assuming it has a line cord.
Check the wire nuts where the line cord attaches to the unit's wiring.
Perhaps one of then has a bad connection.

Check the wire nut connections to the line cord prongs, perhaps it is a bad line cord.

Thanks denman yep i checked both sides of the door switch seems to be good, and reconnected my power cord to machine. Is there a main fuse that
I am not finding or somthing at the pump motor?

I could not find a wiring diagram for a LFC1 but here is one for a LFC0.
It should be the same.

As you can see there is no fuse in the unit.
So with the switches closed if the control board does not light up then it is probably toast.
You could check for power at the board itself just in case you have a bad wire or connection.

Thanks again denman, Will check to see if have power to circuit board, but I think I will be getting the ol lady a new dishwasher for Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas thanks for the help.
