You need to take off the front lower panel to acces the pump. The is a rubber drain line that goes from the tub to the filter and anther line from the filter to the pump. I suggest you open the filter and clean that out. Mine had some lint in it. But I don't think that causes the problem in the pump. Be prepared, when you open the filter the excess water in the hoses will flow out. Disconnect the electrical line to the pump/motor assembly. It is all one piece. Disconnect the hoses and install a new pump/motor. Believe it or not the hardest part was taking the hoses off and cleaning up the water. The pump/motor assembly slides in and has only one screw holding it in place. Most places that sell the pump have illustrated parts breakdowns
