I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis washing machine, model 110.27032603 serial CU2270585. I see many posts on this forum regarding this model and I am beginning to think my problems have just started.

I am receiving the F50 error message during the spin cycle. I have checked to see if something if stuck both in and out of the washer and I see nothing. Is this a problem I can fix or do I need to call a repair man out?

I also see many posts regarding recalls on this Kenmore washer. Does anyone know if there have been recalls in the Illinois area? I just called Sears twice and have gotten "disconnected" both times.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do not know if you can fix it, see the tech sheet and that may help you decide if you want to tackle it or if you wanr to call in a pro.

I do not know of a recall perhaps someone else knows of one.

I looked up the control board and it is also used in Whirlpool Bravos units (MTW 6200, 6400, 6600 and 6700 units) so perhaps downloading the manual from the following site will help.
ApplianceDigest.com - Appliance Repair Service Manuals

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.
