Just purchased new Thermostat and Temp Sensor due to over-thawing and refreezing causing the ice-cube maker to turn into a ice-block maker. Can anyone help me in terms of how to get into the back of the refrigerator to replace these parts? Looks like you have to remove the motherboard and the housing it sits in, but i cannot figure out how to release the two rubber plugs in the housing through which all of the wires run. Also, the housing seems to be glued to the refrigerator frame, thus introducing more issues for removel. Can anyone help?

Your refrigerator uses thermistors to control the temperature. One clipped to the top of the evaporator and another at the bottom of the freezer, and a third behind the damper cover in the fridg section. Just order new ones here.
It is best to verify the motherboard is ok. Remove the cover in the back and check the bottom of the board for blown solder connections.
