The stove burner for baking (lower burner) does not ignite at all. The ignitor
lights up but no gas. No smell of gas. All top burners work fine. It looks like there is no gas flowing to the lower burner. What could cause this?
I appreciate your help.

Berhanu,

Your issue, could still be a weak oven burner igniter,

Part number: AP2014008
Part number: AP2014008

When it does glow, it needs to produce a 2.5 to3.0 amp draw on the circuit, in order to open the internal switch, in the gas valve, in order to release the gas for ignition and a flame. A weak igniter is more common than a bad gas valve, that's where I'd start were it me.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
