My ice and water in the door quit. I found the solenoid heated up and melted the plastic, and burnt the pc board. I replaced all the damaged parts and the selections on the console worked until I pushed the micro switch that is under the glass activated switch pad. the new pc board burnt out in the center. How can I find what burnt the board?

From a Gene post, you have a shorted heater or shorted wires in back of the fountain assembly.

Gene Thanks so much for replying to my Post. I am thinking that my next step is to find the heater so I can check for continuity or short to ground. I could also ask the expert what he would do next.,in order to avoid blowing another expensive part. Are you able to outline a test procedure for me please? thanks in advance Gene
