my washer is about 4 years old and after the wash filled with water it stopped and now all the clothes are in there, it is full of water and it will not turn on when i pull the knob out no matter where i put it. i checked the breaker box its fine but will not turn on and is full of water, someone please help

First, plug a lamp that you know is working into the outlet the machine is pligged into to test the outlet. You can drain most of the water by siphoning it out of the tub. If the outlet is good, you may have a dead motor or a bad timer. It could also be something simpler, like loose or disconnected wires in the console, a bad water level switch (does it fill and stop filling?), or a bad lid switch.
