The washer is not spinning fast enough to spin clothes dry, with a normal to heavy load it sounds like it spins but tub is not moving. when I spin it by hand during spin cycle it will spin very slowly and then stop. Can somemone help me I'm not sure yet if this particular problem is covered under my 10 year warranty

This is a Whirlpool made direct drive washer, and when you have the problem your machine is experiencing the clutch is usually the problem.

This video will show you how to check it out, and at the same time you need to check the brakes, and the Sticky by Richappy at the top of the page will help you with that.
