Our washer is about 17 months old and it started getting an F-24 error code from time to time. It has progressed to getting the code the minute you try to start it. I ordered a new temp sensor and installed it. It washed one load fine and then started to get the error on each additional load we washed. It seemed to get the error during the rinse cycle the most. Now after several loads it gets the error as soon as the machine is started. I have checked the wire that runs to the sensor and it seems fine. Connections seem to be fine also. Is there a relay or solenoid on this model that could be a problem? If so, I have not been able to locate it. Could it be the CCU and if so which one?

Do a resistence test on the sensor (and the heating element if you have one). At the sensor you should have between between 9 to 10 kOhms and at the connector to the board you should have the same. The heating element should have between 10 and 15 Ohms at both the terminal ends and the connector end.

If they check out, then replacing the CCU is probably your next step.
