My washer timer recently (2 weeks ago) would show a completed cycle but when I opened the lid, the tub was still full of water. If I put it back on spin in a different area, it would spin and drain.

Today it completely stopped again that way and now that I try to set it to a different area on the timer, nothing works. I'm guessing the timer needs replacement??? Actually I just tried the spin just now again and it is spinning again but earlier no matter where I put the dial, nothing worked.

Please help!!!

If it does work then I would not do anything until it'll die. If it will stop again try to jiggle the timer.
