How do you unclog the fabric softner dispenser (aggitator mounted)? Mine no longer will auto-dispense.

Ashbaugh,

In general,

First,

Check and make sure the washer is spinning at the proper speed.

The dispenser works on centrifugal force, if the tub doesn't spin proper it won't dispense.

The dispenser assembly, sort of "snaps" off the top of the agitator, it can be a bit tough, but not that bad.

Take the assembly and put it in a container with hot(really hot) soapy(a lot of detergent) water and let it soak, 20 -30 minutes.

You then need to check all the slots and openings on the bottom and the slots around the interior outside wall, use a small blade screwdriver and a scrub brush to clear any remaining residue and rinse the assembly off with hot water.

You can also order a replacement dispenser if you wish,

I could've given you the part numbers had you included a proper model number.
