I have the same excessive lint issue. It's driving me nuts. I wipe down or vacuum the laundry room every few days due to thin layer of lint bunnies. I had ducts cleaned. I clean out the hose and inside the dryer panel recently. I clean the lint trap every cycle. I have cleaned and then reattached duct to the dryer to the wall. I have troubleshooted all the "common" ways to resolve lint escaping. We noticed the felt seal on the drum is worn down and possibly the issue of the lint after doing all the other fixes. Wondering if the seal replacement (basically have to re-glue and attach ourselves) is worth it OR if it is better to purchase a new drum with the seal on it already. Obviously, the seal is cheaper than the whole drum. I worry the new seal, if not installed perfectly, will still cause an issue? Thoughts?
