Thanks on the diagram. Not sure if you had a chance to read my most recent explanation to Rich of what happens but yes, whenever it is in any cycle that requires agitation or spinning, if I pull the selector knob out, the motor hums and machine sits idle. I then can start the belt by hand and it will agitate but in the Spin cycle I never do see it do the actual "fast spin" - just agitation and from what I had read on other forums this was because it won't spin if there is still water in it. But now after draining as much water as I can get out (can still see a little in the pump body), when I give it help to start up in the Spin Cycle, it just agitates during the whole spin cycle and then clicks off, and this is also position of Cycle Selector (although obviously I have no idea whether it is in true off or in some kind of final spin mode but not doing anything because of this problem.

You have to inspect the contacts by gently lifting each spring.
You can also spray the timer contacts with a non-residue cleaning spray while turning the timer. If then, the timer acts differently, you have a bad timer.
