Side by side door on refrigerator side dropped quarter inch and now does not shut automatically. Took top cap off, don't see any adjusting bolt. Can slide door up and down, how do you adjust?

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for General Electric TFX22RNA Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

Check out the plastic cams at the bottom of the door perhaps one of them has broken (Item 451 in Section 3 and Item 16 in Section 1).

Yes, found broken piece. Is this something an average handy person can replace?

I cannot see why you should not be able to do it.

Having an extra set of hands will make it much easier.

Best to unplug the unit when doing this, no use heating it upwith the interior light. OR turn the unit off and tape the door switch so the light does not come on.
Remove the food from the door.
Remove the top hinge and lift the door up and off.
Replace the parts and reassemble.
Always a good idea to check the door sealing after this.

If you have some short 2X4's or whatever will support the door close to the same height of the lower hinge. Then the second person can hold it on this support while you make the repair.
