we have a range, jdr8895aab... we had an electrical fire under 2 of the burner controls. We took off the range top and 2 or 3 of the white plastic square units under the controls, with 2 wires into and out of each, are burnt out. What are they and if I replace them, will this fix the reason they burnt out?

These are your ignition switches. They come as a 4-switch assembly. They often will short out if something liquid spills on the cook top and gets in under the control knobs.Part number: AP4009661

My burner has 5 switches... Is there a set with 5?

This is the part listed for your model; and the parts breakdown diagram shows that you have five burners. So I think maybe there's a hidden one in the bundle showing in the photo. It would be a good idea to confirm this with 877-477-7278 before making a purchase.
