I have a stacked washer/dryer unit, known as a "laundry center" made my Electrolux, model FLEB43RGS2.

The DRYER section will not start! I turn the timer dial to 20 minutes or more, and then turn the start knob and hold it. I can hear the timer clicking (or is it the starter) but nothing happens. No heat, no turning of the drum, zip. :confused:

I was able to find the service manual for the 27" gas/electric laundry centers for the general thing, and found the flow charts on p. 94.
I am mechanically inclined but not electrically!

I am hoping it is a simple fix like the door switch or starter switch or a thermal limit /thermocouple.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Timers, drive motors that are defective are very costly.....

BTW, the washer works fine.
