The light is on so the unit is getting power but it will not start. No sound is made when you try to start it, nothing happens. Please help.

Usually your problem is (in this order): 1. House breaker or faulty plug wire connection at the wall or on the block in the dryer. 2.Dryer fuse inside back panel near motor on blower chute.Resister MUST have full continuity.It's usually 1/4 wide and 1 1/2 in long and is white plastic with black middle.It blows when you have to much lent in the filter causing overheating of the exiting air. 3.Your door switch is no good. 4.Starter windings in motor are burned out.;) Jimmyds.
