I had a GE dryer given to me was told it was just a few years old but it gets used like 12 hours a day as it was in a pet grooming business a friend owns.
She said the sqeaking sound got so bad she stopped using it and got another dryer. I opened it up to clean the fur out and I quickly figured out what the nose was from, they warn out the drum slide past the slide to the point they are gone and AP2042508 'bearing drum' is warn through the plastic by about 1/4 inch
The drum slides say Drum slides should be replaced as a set. So since I cant see how many it actually takes and the diagram seems to only show 1 and I just get a feeling i need more then just 1. I want to order all the correct parts so i can get this dryer back together quickly.

Without a model number I can only tell you that for the most part these take four glides, two greens flanked by two whites.
You probably also need to change out the rear bearing. I would put a new belt on also and check the tension pulley.
