Marianne,

Sounds like your dishwasher has a lot of hard water deposits build up and it needs cleaning. You can use just a regular white vinegar. You also can use Affresh dishwasher cleaner.

Hi, Gene,

Can you please give me a link the techsheet of kitchenaid KUDK03CTSS0?
It's normal light flashing. I have posted in a seperate post but you didn't reply. I want to do a diagnosis to see whether I need a new keypad, control panel or control board.

Hi Tiewen,

Most likely the solution is to replace the console but there is a small chance for the control board to be bad as well.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Whirlpool KUDK03CTSS0 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

Hi, Gene,

That's for the techsheet. I have a question about the keypad test.
For the following chart, does it mean by this:
DELAY HOURS P1-12 P1-2
Does it P1 should be shorted to P12 and P2 as well when I pressing the delay hours key? Otherwise, it should be open?

Hi Tiewen,

You probably overlooked the first and most efficient part of the "Checking keypad operation" instructions on the second page. Perform it and you'll see which part is bad.

I didn't the keypad function check. The control is fine.I tried to test the keypad connectivity with the chart with no luck.I think it does not apply to my model. However, after I did all this and started to place the order for a new keypad.I plugged the keypad ribbon back to the control board and clicked "start",the dishwasher start running again. No flashing. Is this just a bad connection because of the repair didn't plug the ribbon firmly?I hope the dishwash does not choke again. If it does, would it be the control or keypad?

Hopefully it will last but if not then 99% for the keypad.

Hi Gene:

I know this is an old posting but I have the same problem with the Normal, light china and cancel light blinking. I have a Kitchenaide Model KUDS02FRSS1. Could you send me a tech sheet for that model so that I can perform some troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance for all your help
