My wife turned on the lower oven today and smelled smoke. I investigated and found one of the connections to the "Electronic Clock Control Board" (part #8302319) had melted and the plastic was smoking.

I previously (Nov 2009) replaced this part after the control panel went dead and I found numerous complaints about this oven on the forum. According to this forum, the dead panel was either part #8302319 (the one I replaced) or part #8300440 (Control panel assembly, with membrane/switch). I got lucky and only needed #8302319.

So.......what now? Replace the part again? It's under warranty. Is it possible the "new" part I replaced was defective like the original? Should I replace the other part also? Should they have been replaced together?

Could it be something else that's DANGEROUS?? I'm concerned the oven could've started a fire.
