My dishwasher (not even 2 years old yet) doesn't use the Cascade detergent pods correctly anymore. I'm not sure exactly what happens while it's running, but here's what I find when the dishwasher is finished:

1. The water has drained normally.
2. The dishes are hot and have water on them, but they're still DIRTY.
3. The Cascade pod I put in the tray dispenser (that does latch) has been ejected, but it's on the bottom of the dishwasher and is barely dissolved.

It's like the pod is being released too late to actually have time to dissolve and clean the dishes. I know the water is still spraying correctly and plenty hot enough; steam comes out when I open the door. The dispenser tray door latches after I put the pod in. But the timing must be off as far as when it opens to release the pod or something. Why would this suddenly be a problem? Especially when I got this dishwasher brand new a year and a half ago. (Grrrrr)!
