Hi there , I had my rubber gasket replaced by a tech for the second time due to a tear. This time however , the replacement part looks drastically different. There is approximately a 3/4 inch gap in between the rubber and metal drum. It's very visable. As well, the water isn't draining properly there is over 1 inch after doing a load. I questioned the company however , they said it's the new part that was ordered from whirlpool. Called whirlpool and they can't help... I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this and if it is correct. I'm concerned of the standing water , as well as the gap could potentially catch small clothing items. The drain holes do appear to be aligned. Thank you for your help!!
