Our Whirlpool Accudry Dryer is not starting consistently and is shutting
off sporadically.

The timer was replaced but the problem persists.

The vent is clear.

We have to repeatedly turn the timer, open and close the door before
the dryer will start, then it runs sometimes for about 5 min and shuts off, sometimes it runs through the entire cycle. The problem is the same on timed drying and sensor dryer settings.
