I purchased a used DCS RGSC305-SS Range/Oven. We love it. Within the last six months, I would notice the vent fan would be on when the oven wasn't even running. I figured out that you could get it to go off by slightly pushing in the "bake" selector and "clean" selector, but will remain on in both the "Convect" settings and "Broil" settings. I tested the Blower Thermostat for continuity at room temp and it has none. I tested the Hi-Temp Cut-Out at room temp and it does have continuity. I haven't gotten to the Thermostat yet, but I'm confused about which thermostats should and shouldn't have continuity at room temperature. Also wondering if it could be an issue with the oven control selector switches since they seem to affect whether it goes on. Any thoughts would be helpful.
