GE GSH22JGDCBB side by side.

I have noticed the temp goes up to 25+ and melts everything during what seems to be the defrost cycle. I looked at the coils and they did have frost on them. I used a hair dryer to remove the frost but it came right back within a couple hours. In the mornings after being shut all night temps are back to "normal". The problem seems to start when I turn on the ice maker. Plus the ice maker is not getting water to make ice. Two seperate problems ?
Feel free to ask more question...just wanna get this right.
