Hi, I have a lab oven I'm looking at repairing. I've replaced the internal wiring. It has a bad bimetal thermostat rated for 455F (attached the image, hopefully you see it). The vendor no longer makes these and I can't find one via ~bay. Can I just use a thermostat for a regular electric oven? examples I'm looking at: https://www.grainger.com...ge/Grainger/26X373_AS01?$smthumb$ GE WB20K10026 Thermostat-Elec - AppliancePartsPros.comI'm just setting up the lab, so I have limited funds. It'd be great if I can get this oven repaired, so thanks in advance for any advice EDIT: I just realized this in the freezer and not oven topic.
