I have a Frigidaire "Gallery" dryer that's roughly ten years old, maybe a year or two more, and recently it's been making the worst groaning, clonking noise. I read up on it, and it sounded like the bearing assembly was the most likely culprit. I replaced it myself (never having done it before, but the youtube video looked reasonably easy to follow), and it sounded great for about a week. Now it's back, as bad as before. I've looked at a couple other threads on here but I'm really not sure what to think at this point, so I thought I'd post a new thread. Any advice would be appreciated!
