So, I went dumpster diving through Craigslist and purchased a "Like New" RCA Microwave that was described as "like new" but with some dents. It looks nice overall. The dents are in the back by the fan. It doesn't sound as quiet and smooth as a new one would. http://dealsinohio.com/RCAMicrowave.mp3 I tried opening it to see if the fan is hitting something I could bend back in place but didn't get too far. All I ended up doing was bending the metal grating for the fan back in place a little. It didn't make much of a difference.
What do you think? Did I save a buck or am I stuck out of luck? It heats just fine.
