Had a lightning strike near the house a couple weeks ago and since then, the dehumidifier has not been producing water even though fan is running and there are no alarms. Compressor doesn't turn on so opened the panel to troubleshoot control circuit. Looks like I have 12VAC out of the transformer, but not sure I am getting the compressor relay to turn on. Tried jumping the 120VAC common through the power relay but compressor does not kick on. Don't think that the capacitor is bad, but tried measuring the resistance between windings on the compressor. 2.15mOhm between run (blue) and common (black)and run and start (yellow) and 12 ohm between run and start. Does this sound bad to anyone and are there any other suggestions for verifying the compressor/capacitor, etc? All leads to frame ground were above 2mOhms.
Thank you in advance!
