We just moved and during The move, the filter got broken inside the water filter housing. The Cap is also missing. The insides of the filter fell out on my floor.

I got down on the floor and I see the remnants of a purple cylinder in the housing. I found a video on YouTube in which someone showed how to remove/replace the housing (that's how I found this site). But although I've removed the screws, I'm not able to pull the housing out nearly as far as he did in the video - - the supply tubing is just too short. And I can't get enough of grip on it to do it one-handed.

I've considered cutting the tunes and then reconnecting using addition tubing and couplers. What size tubing and couplers would I need? I remember hearing him say that you couldn't put the tubing back on wrong because they're different sizes.

TIA!
